A STREAM OF CREATIVE ENERGY
It is easy to grasp in Alessandra Casciotti an intense relationship, ancient and concealed with art and all that is beautiful. In her and in the expressions of her paintings there is the concrete demonstration of the human theorem that has interested great philosophers, doctors and psychologist in the history of humanity. Something exists, inside each one of us, that pushes us to be the way we are, to make certain choices, to choose certain paths to walk down. As recent studies from the University of Minnesota state: “People find, in the best way possible, a coherent, adaptative system to react to their current situations based on what happened to them in the past.”(*1) It is thanks to the study of these issues that today, we are able to grasp in an easier way, the passions and the action of mankind; here, in this secret language, there are the keys to try to break the code of the soul, of that system of symbols, coded messages, that push us to act in a way instead of another and that not always we are able to comprehend immediately. Alessandra Casciotti embodies in her work, all the internal struggles of mankind along the path of centuries, the spirit was forged by the scolding magma around the unexplored territories of the heart and, now, in this slit of land that is about to emerge, she explores and unearths the treasures there deposited for an undefined time. Now, she brings them back to life, making them re-emerge from the meanders of the extraordinary feminine sensitivity of her tale-telling ability. Master pieces reappear, precious gems, gems of iridescent light. The artist fulfils a vital role, like the left ventricle, pumps the oxygen-full blood to all the parts of the body and it gives new life and shape to the wealth of the gift she has received. She draws colours, atmospheres, experiences that, with infinite love, ability and tenacity she tries to narrate putting forward her stories, showing modestly that most fertile intimacy that was nurtured lovingly by the beats of her heart. “The secret of happiness is in our hands”, is a strong message, that of Alessandra Casciotti, made of shapes and spaces in a perfect balance, of privileged and mysterious keys , of proportioned mental spaces, symmetrical and clear. The private treasure chest has many access systems, a well-balanced harmonic ladder: passion, success, friendship, fortune, prestige, wellbeing, happiness, love. Soft strokes skim the scent, the colours of the seven chakras merge into one, enchanting colours and signs full of light are deposited. The picturesque universes invite us to enter the realms of the spirit, to reactivate the energy which flows in the body, and here we perceive the transformation work and the regeneration wave. Here we find the scent of the Shirodara, the delicate dance of many hands in movement, full and warm as sea water. Talking hands, as if in prayer, take us gradually towards a pleasing awakening, a thousand caresses of a continuous massage, slow, sweet and enveloping. It is then that, Psyche shows herself, strong in her courage, decisive and resolute, wild and proudly, here the strong personality of the artist explodes! In her canvasses we see, how through the moment she becomes goddess, before a subjugated Eros, seduced, enchanted, defeated. There are women who feel the force within them but that can’t realise the projects in which they believe, there are women that try to address all their strength towards the life they really want to live, to bring to the surface, concretely, the innermost essence…this is Alessandra Casciotti’s path.
Her research swiftly proceeds, along a trying path, in the experimental labyrinths of tonality and passion, like a burning fire. The flames are still the manifestation of vitality, a flow of creative energy at the pure state. Fervour burns and is consumed, it becomes the symbol of purification and of regeneration. The hand of the artist moves around situations that pass from a dreaming state to the most active imagination. Alessandra Casciotti is a scenographer of the mind: she manages to set wisely memories and far-away worlds in the further locations of the subconscious. Intrinsically her art compositions emanate subliminal messages that remain unconsciously present in the observer’s mind. They are works of art, those of the roman artist, that do not pertain to classical beauty, but that are the creative trigger of a process that stimulates the instinct and the mind of the observer, towards the research of one’s deepness, in one’s conscience, in one’s way of being.
If for an instant we were able to visit the world of the paintings on exhibit, by Alessandra Casciotti, we would have to bring the eyes and the mind towards a sample case of intriguing backstages and reefs, of this theatre of our own existence, of the most intense pages of our life.
